Buff-tailed

I’ve been very lazy today, loafing around outside looking for insects to photograph, whilst JJ has been cleaning his car, which generally takes all day.  He’s evicted a few spiders and claims his car is web enabled, or was until the eviction.

I’ve seen a tiny weevil, a cinnamon bug and a hornet this afternoon and a couple of blow flies.  I did take a leaf and two caterpillars indoors to photograph them munching.  However the leaf flopped before the sulky caterpillars got round to doing anything, so that was a waste of time.  Now all the leaves of the nasturtiums have been eaten and they’re out of food.
