A Productive Day

……………………….at home. MC had the car to take the wee one to a birthday party this afternoon so I decided a day in catching up and getting ahead of myself was in order. House hoovered, towels tumble dried and the ironing pile bottomed for starters before lunch. After lunch I sorted out, mounted and bagged up several prints for selling at our camera club exhibition next month. I then went to make some bread but the battery was flat in the scales and the small screw holding the battery compartment cover in place would not budge for love nor money…I think I’ve overscrewed it last time!! New set of scales ordered along with a few other bits ‘n bobs before MC arrived and I ran them back over to Berwick. An easy tea followed with yesterdays leftovers. I may take an evening stroll now the sun has come out and the wind appears to have dropped a little.
