A sea of lavender

I looked at our lavender bush today and thought how wonderful it was looking - "A sea of lavender". Then I found a setting on my camera that provides a frame with ripples like water, so I thought it would achieve what I wanted as my title! I think lavender is one of my favourite plants because the scent is wonderful and, even when it dies, it still produces a wonderful scent and can be used for all sorts of things.

Feel a bit tired today, so apart from popping down to buy meat for lunch and then cooking it, I'm not going to do much. I was due to be meeting a friend this morning but she had to cancel because her dog isn't well, so I have the day to myself really. Have been doing a bit of sorting as, in theory, I love a tidy house - but find it almost impossible to achieve as I spread my things around the place, not always very neatly! Anyway, got part-way there today...! Onwards and upwards! :-)
