Sally Mair - Loving life

Boston Memento

I knew the mug I bought in Boston would come in handy for a blip sooner or later!
I just couldn't resist it when I saw it.
Church this morning, our rector's penultimate Sunday, a 'Mary' Sunday and he used the occasion to bless his new daughter, now 3 months old and called Mary. Her baptism will be in their new parish in Perth.
I was pleased to see that the flowers from Bonnie's baptism service last week were still going strong and looking fresh as ever.
I took to my bed after lunch and was out for the count for a couple of hours, I must have needed it. Ali and the girls popped over at around 4. 30 and had their tea with us (the girls) they both had baked potato with cheese and ham in Josie's case and carrot in Bonnie's. Both are very good eaters. Josie was desperate to tell me she starts her new swimming lessons tomorrow. She's very excited.
After they'd left, I made yesterday's Bolognaise sauce into three lasagnes for both families, and us for this week, they'll be delivered tomorrow.
Colin and I tracked down a series we'd happened on the other week, set in Edinburgh. 'Crime' by Irvine Welsh. Last week we watched series 2 episode 4, so were delighted to find we could watch the whole of both series on ITVx. Tonight series 1 episode 1.
