Fly to Paradise

This Large White butterfly flew into the garden this morning and settled on the white dianthus to feed, giving me enough time to grab a few shots.
We had a couple of butterflies today including a meadow Brown.We've still got a lot of cloud cover and a breeze about 19 degrees so much cooler than the 30.9 degrees my Dad has in Kent.In a few weeks the buddleia will be in bloom and last year it was covered in butterflies,bees and hover flies.

I watched a wasp devour a hover fly today.It was interesting to watch as it first removed the wings and then wrapped it up into a ball and then flew off.

I do nt know if anyone saw the Virtual choir at the Queens celebration concert on Saturday but it's amazing, I just love the song you can see the video and hear it here. virtual choir 4
