Walking through heather…

is sensory delight, for the nose and the eyes. Very quiet now after the hectic nesting and fledging times. A lone Heron was fishing in the low water, a few Pipits flew about and one Wheatear put in an appearance.
The coo s were enjoying being in heather too!
