Seriously?

The advantages of having a dog include that in fair weather or foul (whatever your definition of fair and foul may be), you have to take your furry friend out for a walk at least twice a day, thereby getting outdoors and adding a few numbers to your pedometer and polishing your 'holier than thou' halo.

The disadvantages of having a dog include that in fair weather or foul, you have to take your furry friend out for a walk at least twice a day, thereby, getting outdoors, including in the uncomfortable heat of the morning sun, and then doing it again several hours later when although the sun has gone down, the temperature has not. Pedometer be damned, my halo still shines.

In between it was a deliciously lazy day at home, although I did swim in  my pool several times (see yesterday) including post sea front walkies this evening.
