Rosebay willowherb in the rain

Well, we had a wonderful cruise, everything worked out perfectly. We were so busy though that there was no time to blip!
Now we are on the Isle of Mull ostensibly on a Wildlife holiday. The plan was to photograph Sea eagles, Golden eagles, loads of other birds, dolphins , whales, and so on. Today was the first day and it absolutely poured with rain. The morning was a wash out really, and this picture was taken from a hide but there were no birds to be seen! Eventually, late afternoon the rain abated for a bit and we did see 2 buzzards and a curlew and a deer from a distance. Tomorrow we were supposed to be going on a boat trip but the forecast is so bad that the trip is cancelled as the boat isn't going out. We are doing a land based tour of Central Mull instead so hope that may be a bit more successful. Unfortunately Wednesday looks like a washout, so I don't know what we'll do. I feel quite sorry for our guide really!
