THE LAUGHING GNOME

My cheerful Newcastle United gnome reminds me of the David Bowie song THE LAUGHING GNOME so I decided to blip it for the Mono Monday challenge - the theme is' laughter'. Thanks to ApolloFly for hosting.

I had a good nights sleep but still felt weary so I just pottered around at home until around 4pm when I " motivated " myself to go to the village.

Picked up my repeat prescription, did some food shopping and collected a parcel from Tesco.  The parcel contained a delicate glass mug and it was in a huge box.  The sender had done a great job packing it safely in lots of bubble wrap and paper.  I had been worried when I bought it whether it would arrive safely so I was glad to see that it was perfect.

Had some bits in the fridge to use up - ham, eggs and mushrooms  - so I made some mini quiche muffins for my evening meal.  Very tasty.

The weather today was warm but very dull.  It always looked like it would rain... and it did.  It started when I was half way to the village and continued while I was out.  Wasn't very heavy though.
