Ripe apples

In the extra, runner beans, in flower. 

The forecast was for rain all afternoon, so went out in the morning and walked through the vegetable gardens at the Botanics. Lots of espaliered apples and bright cottage gardens flowers doing well. Flat white at the Inverleith house courtyard; the main cafe there is closed 'for several days' ; the popup stands are operating. 

Back in for two Civtech calls in succession. Quick walk around the town after supper, after the first band of heavy rain had gone through. More overnight.
