Heather on the Beach

What is all that about?
We went off today and carried out an eight mile walk from Findhorn to Roseisle on the Moray Coast Trail.We hadn't done this section before. While walking along we came upon this Heather in full bloom in the dunes on the beach. It seemed rather strange to see heather here. But it was very beautiful, although earlier this year and I thought it added to the beach. The beach is a good long one, about twelve miles over this particular stretch. It was a nice pleasant day, 22 degrees, just right for walking. Crab Lunch afterwards in Lossiemouth. Such a great day!
