The old Coop Building on Morrison Street ...

The building dates from 1893 by architects Bruce and Hay. It was the headquarters of the Scottish Cooperative Wholesale Society (SCWS) then converted to flats in the 1990s.
The statue of Light and Life at the top of the tower is a recreation by sculptor Kenny Mckay replacing the lost original by James Alexander Ewing.
