Super Blue Moon …

… rising out of the mountains (I must look up why it is “blue”) Taken just after midnight when I should have been asleep. I’m all upside down with jet lag. 

Every year I do a 3 day hike with the ladies in extra, but for various reasons, this year, it was just for today. Up at 05:15 and eventually arriving in Veysonnaz to do a big “balcony” walk to the Dixence Dam. We had fantastic views especially of the Dent Blanche (extra) through the early morning mists. I was glad to fill in this part of the mental map I have of this area, going to new places is always a treat.

I shall try to catch up with you all tomorrow. Last night I fell asleep whilst on the computer.
