Ostia And Beyond

Paid a visit to the Harbour on the edge of Ostia and found some (unexpected) quirky concrete structured buildings with an undeniable sailor/boat theme to match the surroundings. See extra. This one caught my eye as it looks more like a soviet artefact: part military aircraft perhaps?

Took advantage of the full, hot sunlight of course and set up (mini) tripod plus my trusty ir850 filter. Palm trees work a full treat in infrared and it was nice to stop at the MacDonald's to meet Mrs Tuttle for a cappuccino and a beer (yep, that's right). We had a stroll around town then returned again late on when the shops reopened for the evening.
