Making Glazes....

Now it is time to get back into production, feels like i'm way behind, but as long as i stick with my schedule i should be just fine...even with a few days off :)

I dislike making glazes, but when i start doubting some of my own records on my recipe cards i get really frustrated.   Glaze materials are mined of course, and there are often times when one chemical is no longer available so a substitute is put in it's place.   I started questioning a particular item in my recipe and then of course got very worried, cos i make up 20k batches of a glaze, so if it's wrong....!!!!   So after a few phone calls to my clay supplier i have a bit of a better handle on the situation.   I also just wish i'd paid more attention to the chemistry course we had in college....never can remember which feldspar is which :P

I've also done something to my lower back which is causing me a lot of pain, so muscle relaxants and trip to the physio - hopefully things will get better soon, it's no fun trying to work with back pain.
