Stalk

Going up the steps that I'd come down just over an hour previously.

Got home mid-morning from the overnighter at work and headed into town for some lunchtime comedy. Amy Gledhill had an extra show on at Monkey Barrel and I'd heard good things about her in the past. I didn't know where Amy was from but within a couple of minutes I had a pretty good idea. It takes one to know one after all - yup, my hometown. I really enjoyed her show, a real flow to it, and was more than happy to chuck some money in the bucket on the way out.

And then, after a very pleasant hour with coffee and book in a cafe, it was up to Summerhall for summat at the Film Festival. Timestalker -  the new one written by, directed by and starring the wonderful Alice Lowe. A twisted historical romcom drama with plenty of laughs. It didn't disappoint.

A night in, work in the morning, don't want to overdo it now.
