Weer
A day at work which involved me going to visit someone at a rehab place late morning out at Seafield. So, 90 minutes on two buses to get there for a 15 minute visit. I thought I'd better make the most of it so walked along to Porty where the sun was out and I sat looking at the sea whilst I ate my sandwich which was pretty nice, then another two buses and another 90 minutes back to the office. By the time I arrived at staff base, you've guessed it, it was time to come home. That's my kind of day at work!
On to the evening - a theatrical double bill.
First up, The Fifth Step at The Lyceum. Starring Jack Lowden, I thought this might be one of them festival star attraction type things but it was actually very good indeed. Jack and Sean Gilder were both terrific and there were some absolutely killer lines in there as well.
Secondly, a repeat of Natalie Palamides': WEER at The Traverse. I loved this show so much when I saw it last week with my mate that I went again tonight with my partner..and she didn't love it nearly so much as me. Which is fine. I mean she's obviously wrong but ...we're still together. Not quite grounds for divorce. Nearly, but, you know, each to their own. Other opinions are available.
