Kestrel Feeding

Rain forecast. A couple of rain showers. I have a medical appointment outside, a bit of physio, so I am worried it will be damp. However when I get there, blue skies are above me. Appointment goes very well. I get home around 12, so do a quick walk around the park as a cool down, the rain helps with that..

After work, partner and I go for a walk. A sunny afternoon, further showers do not appear. Along one path, a couple are looking up at a tree. I can't see anything, but my partner can see a raptor in a tree. My view was blocked by a tree trunk. First shot is Extra, taken a couple of feet further on, a kestrel is having a wee bite to eat. Main blip was taken a wee bit further down the path, but is a wee bit closer to the bird. We walk  a bit further before having a seat in the sunshine, until the dark clouds start rolling in.
