Hot Lips

There was no part of me hot on this August day! Before I set of out this afternoon I changed from a sleeveless blouse to a long-sleeved jumper.

The three of us went up to Dobbies. The B-I-L had a birthday voucher to cash in at the cafe. 

The roads were dreadful today. There had been a turned over lorry on fire just a couple miles south of Penrith so traffic was backed-up into the town when we took The B-I-L home. All on a day when I had to be home for a Zoom meeting.

I was a bit alarmed that a parcel I had asked to be put in the greenhouse was missing when we got home but it arrived, a couple of hours late due to the chaos on the roads.
