Amblyside

Yet another gorgeous day in the Lakes (how often do you get to say that?) and so we opted to take a run through to Ambleside and have an amble.

This was of course nothing more than a ruse to allow me to score both a Bath Bun from The Apple Pie and also a choc dip ice cream from Waterhead.

I was able to get the bun, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough pennies for the ice cream. *sad face*

The view across the top of the Windermere to Loughrigg helped make up for it whilst I struggled through a slightly inferior ice cream. We gave m' boy some too and he seemed to enjoy the cold sensation against his gums which seem to be bursting forth with teeth at the minute!
