Galleoni

Wow, what a day! 2 races in the Gallione and the Jolly.  The Gallione was something else, we all put our best effort in and chorused 1, 2 3 etc with each other as we rowed in a team - leading at the turn bouy, but the Italian cox could not communicate instructions to us so we hit the mark and lost our pace. Working hard together after the turn, we sped up to the finish, where the cox jumped in to the water, swam home and grabbed the flag - just in 3rd place. The blip is of Tish taking over the cox after he jumped.

Thankfully, the Jolly was more straightforward. We powered hard and, againcame a close third.

Tish had news of her sister who had a fall and a hospital stay. Not good news.
