Greenhill Gardens
I covet this house which I pass quite often on my way into town. I like the French-style balconies and the ivy and other plants growing on the walls.
Today I was on my way to the book festival to see Andrey Kurkov, a Ukrainian author who I first read when my literature class discussed Grey Bees. I've now read a couple of other books that he's written, Death and the Penguin and the book that he was talking about today, The Silver Bone. He was very amusing, as expected. That's my last festival event for this year and it finishes for everyone on Sunday. Edinburgh will then collapse in a heap.
Like the last few days, it was another gusty autumnal day with cool temperatures. I hope summer will come back for a little at least.
I've now added an extra of Alfie looking very bright-eyed.
