Rosa Rugosa

Today I’ve been planning my next bus pass adventure, which I’ll be undertaking in a few weeks time. It will include the only 2 English counties I’ve yet to visit: Surrey and Hertfordshire.
The blip is a Rosa rugosa which usually flowers profusely for much of the Summer then has large hips later. This year it’s had very few flowers, but it was nice to see a couple of buds today.
