A thing of beauty

Had a lazy day at home today playing catch-up on things domestic.

So, at the last knockings of the day, I had a walk into the garden and found this little beauty.

What has really amazed me has been the quality of the images from the lens of this still newish bridge camera. The ability it has to focus in close like this while also being able to produce very acceptable telephoto shots has truly stunned me.

While I won't be parting with the slr anytime soon, I reckon I have found a new best photo-friend!!
