The highlight of today

Harvesting the first three ripe cherry tomatoes!

The rest of my day has not been so fruitful. Had to cancel my plans for a restful and relaxing day while Dad was at daycare and instead call the doctor out as he was very unwell. Apart from 5 mins in the garden playing with tomatoes, I’ve been stuck indoors waiting on phone calls, doctors, and antibiotics, and running up and down the stairs to the patient who’s been sleeping on and off all day. And now it’s unlikely that Dad’s next eye treatment will go ahead on Tuesday due to the antibiotics, but the hospital didn’t return my call and now it’s a bank holiday weekend. Will pop by with stars etc, before another early night.
