Late summer garden flowers

I picked these flowers for Sally - she used to look after our cats, but now that they are gone she looks after the house and waters our plants. As a wee thankyou we went to Ardardan and had coffee , carrot cake and a long chat. It was good to catch up with her.
In the late afternoon I drove to Irvine to see my grandson after his first week of 3rd year. We had a good chat.
Thunder and lightning followed but torrential rain on the drive home and I am glad to be home.
It's been a lovely day.
Jim is still not home from Doune - we have had overnight carers for S this week and have taken turns of being there during the day. So much driving but good to be sleeping at home.
I need to catch up with back blips !
