Roll With It

Long Haul

I’ve moved around so called “Third World” countries faster than moving around England. Often it’s not the volume of traffic but the need by local councils and the Highways Agency to carry out road repairs over the summer months. I’m sure there are very good reasons for doing so but with unaffordable rail fares more people are taking to the roads. Six and a half hours to cover 246 miles, an average speed of 38 miles an hour on mainly dual carriageway and motorway.
Rowing could be the way ahead!

Anyway we arrived in sunny East Wittering to spend some time with Mrs S’s brother Mark. Mrs S has work to do, not so Sam, Paddy and I. Looking forward to a short break and some down time.
