Girls on a Bus
Busy morning going to the bank to pay in the cash that was taken, in donations, last Saturday at the Fairford Steam and Vintage Show.
I'd normally go down town on my bike, no hassle or cost to parking! But I thought the girls might like a short trip on the omnibus. It passes quite close to our house and the number 8 takes you about 2 miles right into the centre of Gloucester. I took a photo of the girls and a young lady, in the seat in front, offered to take some of the three of us. Very kind of her and we all thanked her very much.
They were really well behaved, well compared to what I expected them to be like! When they are badly behaved it's usually just laughing and loud, running around chasing each other. There was a bit of that in the bank but when I told them to come and stand by me and be quiet (I couldn't hear what the cashier was saying) they did what they were told so some progress there!
Afterwards we went to Waterstones Book Shop as they have a café upstairs, which is much nicer than gong to a Starbucks etc. Again, they were really well behaved and attracted a lot of attention from lovely old biddies that frequent such places, rather than Starbucks etc HAHAHAHAHAHA
When we got home I had a little task, take a return parcel to the post office. I struck a bargain that I would do that and then go to Oily Rag to see if there was anyone I knew. There wasn't but I took some photographs of the more outstanding bikes present and had a chat with the chap with red & white Harley Softail with the fish tail exhausts. See extras.
I also took a selfie and posted on the RBL Riders facebook page "Billy no mates at Oily Rag, Just having a tea, they don't do decaf coffee, then heading off." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
