Long Living Orchid

I'm terrible at photograph composition, I didn't even notice that the whirlygig washing line was showing, right in the middle of the Orchid!
This particular Orchid has retained it's flowers for about 3 months now, and here comes another flower stem, which has been steadily climbing it's way up for the past couple of weeks.
We are used to Orchids dying off and then shooting again weeks, or months, later but I've never seen a new shoot growing while the original flowers are still going.
