Ice Cream Kiosk Noir

Today we stopped for a quick stroll around The Friars (our local Carmelite Priory) on our way back from a mini food shop. It was a another gloriously sunny summer's day and the overhead early afternoon light was casting some rather magnificent shadows.
The ice cream kiosk (my second ice cream themed image in the last three days) has stood in the grounds for a long as I can remember but despite having a sign advertising its intended wares outside it has remained shuttered for at least the last decade. I thought the stark shadows around it, with those two almost lollipop shaped trees, gave it a somewhat forbidding feel which wouldn't be out of place in a film noir!
