Dog Day Afternoon..

..or in this case, morning!

J had to collect two more ridgebacks this morning from somewhere in London.  They are spending the weekend with us while their owners enjoy the bank holiday.  Meanwhile I was in charge of Duke, who was as good as gold but rather sad to be without his man.  Here he is lying on the sofa with his head on a cushion pretending to be pathetic.  Poor boy!

However, all is well now, and after the endless torrential rain that Lilian threw at us the sun has come out, there are even butterflies in the garden, and we have five dogs to keep us entertained.  (I love them to bits, but basically stay out of the way!)
