Steel wire armoured cable.
I learnt to make off a gland on SWA cable when I was a Student Apprentice aged about 19.
All through my working life I don’t think I made off a gland in over 40 years.
Since I’ve been retired I’ve made off loads of them, some a lot bigger than this. What you learn young you remember.
Installing the power supply to next door’s new garage and tidying up the rat’s nest of non-compliant cables and miscellaneous irrigation pipes and tv aerials at the same time. It will be finished tomorrow if it doesn’t rain like today.
