Produce

This time of year is so bounteous.
Everything cropping madly. The gov can barely keep up with washing and freezing the fruit and cooking the various shades of bean.
I helped out tonight by incorporating Borlotti beans in the veggie cottage pie.
However very worrying on the cooking apples, loads of windfalls almost all of which have some sort of rot and very few left on the tree. In days of yore we would have given it a winter tar wash but all that has long since been outlawed…..
