Another Day - Another Cathedral

It was an “off the cuff” day after a pretty simple breakfast I decided to head for Chichester by bus, as I thought of it so Sam decided to accompany me.
Bus took thirty minutes first thing off the bus a coffee and a pastry then off to the cathedral. Free entry, donation only and we were away on the recommended circuit. Fascinating, as are all of our cathedrals, so much to see, but I had one particular thing on the list which we came to on the last leg and it will be the subject of tomorrows Blip.
Another coffee and another pastry and we entered the museum, again free but packed full of good stuff, I particularly like the warrior story.
Outside we discovered owls everywhere, five feet tall and brightly coloured as we wandered the street market it became a bit of a ‘thing’ to find them.
Bus back to East Wittering where we dropped our bags and collected Mrs S and Paddy for a walk down into the village.
We returned in time to collect Mark and head back down to the restaurant, outdoor seating with Paddy, enjoyed a single beer and main course, we might have had more but we never saw another server until we were at the door paying.
Another long but rewarding day.
