Coffee stop

And suddenly, I had three days of blips to do!

It is 24.8.24 today, and no one in my date group said anything, so I was first in, even if it was nearly 9 PM! ;)

The day began leisurely. G had a good look at what's in the fridge and had a big tidy-up on that front. We headed out in the afternoon, first to drop the (finally) arrived, IC board for my old sound bar and then to Festival City. We had a coffee in Costa, had a walk through iKEA, specifically in their Office section, I designed a Paris 2024 souvenir t-shirt and then we did a grocery shop (something to avoid on a weekend).

For the first time in over six years, I had the experience of a local Amazon item not arriving. I got a notice to say that the item (a replacement charger that G left behind) was delivered at 5:30, but there was nothing on the doorstep when we got home, a mere half an hour later. I have to say, the customer service was excellent. For starters, they have a phone number to call where you get to speak to a human!

The day ended with watching the DVD "The Bookshop" which G carried back.
