Landfill

Since seeing the car in tip-top condition, G has wanted to do a drive in it, so today, we set out early and headed north to RAK. G had her camera out and captured a few pictures. My main image (of the Al Qusais Landfill) was taken while heading North. The lines of trees all neatly planted are fascinating.

We called in at the wine shop and then Barracuda. My extra was taken whilst driving South. There are so many shrubs and trees growing out of the sand dunes, that it is hard to call this expanse a desert.

We were home by 1:30 and then out again at 6, this time for a Sunday lunch. The crew at McCafferty's were fantastic. We shared a main and dessert. I don't know how one person could eat the portions they give!

Back at home, I put on the movie "Jesus Revolution" for G as the subscription to TOD TV ends tomorrow. She stayed awake for most of it! ;)))
