Beautiful Beetroot

It’s been very wet today. That was good as it it encouraged us to go shopping and get a few things we needed for the coming week - such as accessories for a wedding outfit. This afternoon whilst the weather gradually cleared I made another courgette cake and a ginger cake. Both will go in the freezer for another day. More beetroot were also roasted as I’ve been using them all week in meals.

Grateful:
- For a pre-dinner walk in full sunshine and refreshing breeze.
- To Merlin for his patience with the rain. As a consequence he wanted lots of play with his ball in the garden this afternoon. We obliged for the most part.
