48 hours on the Parkrun Course

SUNDAY

This morning, I was out the door shortly after 7:00 am and headed to Ruthin, where the Parkrun group is hosting a 48-hour charity run on the Memorial Fields Parkrun course. I did a one hour slot and managed two Parkruns (10 km) in 61 minutes.

The event kicked off on Friday at 5:00 pm and is set to conclude later this afternoon. All proceeds from the event are being donated to the Wales Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.

As of 10:00 am today, we’ve raised an impressive £2,445 towards our £3,000 target. 

It's been a rewarding experience to contribute to such a worthy cause alongside so many dedicated participants.

This afternoon it's the Tremeirchion village craft and produce show and Prue and Harriet have entered a couple of exhibits. I'll update the post later.
