Prestatyn Classic Car Show
MONDAY
This afternoon it was a tough choice between joining the Village Treasure Hunt or heading to Prestatyn for the Bank Holiday Classic Car Show. The cars won out, and off we went to Prestatyn where we battled the crowds.
The High Street and town centre car parks was filled with over 450 classic vehicles, each with its own story.
As always, I was drawn to the two Hillman Imps and a pristine yellow Clan Crusader, boasting over 200,000 miles on its original Coventry Climax engine—a true testament to its endurance. The Clan won the title "Best Sports Car" in the show.
My blip however is of a stunning 1963 Ford Consul Capri, which brought back memories of my cousin's similar model from the late 1960s.
We tried out the vegetarian grazing platter in M&S cafe before heading home
