Summer holiday 2024 day 9

Plan A of a beach trip this morning was somewhat curtailed by the persistent rain along the south coast...so glad our festival day was yesterday rather than today. 

Plan B, a trip into Oxford to break up the journey home was then equally scuppered by the rain as we didn't fancy wandering around getting wet and then sitting in the car damp and bedraggled. 

Plan C ended up being a Costa lunch during an apocalyptic downpour, and a trip to an arcade next to the Kassam Stadium for Owen to let off some steam and for us all to stretch our legs. Turns out there was also Gravitee Adventure Golf there too, and it's not a summer holiday without a game of crazy golf. Owen managed to 'win' that, getting a hole in one on the last hole.
Then it was back on the road to home and a cat wondering where the hell we'd been.
