My topsy-turvy life

United Colours of Gravity

Summer holiday 2024 day 10

Louisa was meant to be taking Aaron to the Gravity car show at the NEC today but he also had tickets bought for him for Wolves v Chelsea.
Choices, choices.
Aaron's popularity meant that it was Owen and me going along with Louisa instead to wander around some of the super cars and souped up cars on display in the halls. Owen's favourite part was probably getting to go in a fancy Tesla and push all the buttons. There were so many cars there but one that caught my attention was the 1993 Benetton F1 car of Michael Schumacher -that I had to take a picture of for Dad.

I think all the travelling over the last few days has got to us a little bit and we lasted less than 2 hours before heading back to central Birmingham in search of a soft play. The one we found was fine and Owen loved it, although I thought it smelt like a 5 day old chip pan.
Then it was a quick trip to see Mom and Dad before picking Aaron up from his Dad's and dropping him and Louisa at the train station to head back into Birmingham for the remaining birthday Plans.

Losing 6-2 probably meant Aaron would have been better off at Gravity instead.
