Grounding

Some of my blips have been inspired by a palm tree in my backyard that died and became a nursery of sorts for at least 3 bird families...when I got home today I was dismayed to find her cut down leaving only a stump; a remnant of a beautiful tree...sad...caught me off guard...still hard to look at actually, but I think of how even in death she provided a safe place for the birds especially during all the storms we've been having...Grateful for the tree and for the photos she inspired
