Bank Holiday sunshine

Early clouds gave way to strong sunshine; it's still windy - but that worked out well, as Frieda was able to try out her new kite (extra, a rather distant view).
We've spent relaxed times on the beach, all the kids free to find their own space, to work together on sandcastles or kite-flying or to mooch around quietly if they need some time out.
So here are Jack and Ruth in a rare moment of relaxation. Happy times.
With luck I might manage a swim sometime this week.The water's not exactly warm. But if the wind drops a bit... So far Jenny, Malcolm (friends), Jack and Marianna have all been in the water. Ruth and I haven't quite got there yet.
