Wound up in Wexford

Tankardstown copper mine

This morning we set off to drive over to Kerry for a short stay.  We took the scenic route along the Copper Coast, lovely views but my goodness it was windy!

Here's R looking very windswept, admiring the remains of Tankardstown copper mine.  In extras, an overview.  Shortly after, we stopped for lunch at the Copper Coast Visitor's Centre.

At Dungarvon, we joined the N72.  We stopped briefly in Lismore to admire the local pad of the Duke of Devonshire - see 2nd extra.

Final destination, an AirBnb in the centre of Killarney.  Just a short walk to a lovely Thai restaurant for our dinner
