Ruby Bay

At Elie. Probably our favourite beach at the moment. Met friends leaving the beach as we arrived, then we had it to ourselves. Just the way we like it. It was mild, and sunny at one point.
After our walk and Geordie’s digging session, we just made it back to the car before the rain started.
An afternoon of reading and pottering, then a walk in Hamilton wood. Again, it was mild and dry. I heard a bird call I’ve never heard there before and had to use the Merlin app. to identify a redstart. Sadly I couldn’t spot it. We raised a buzzard when we walked into the field beside the wood. It circled overhead and seemed positively annoyed with us, so I guess we interrupted it with prey.
