Oregano

A day of rain, rain, and more rain!

Having said that, I really enjoyed our walk in the woods this morning. We both had rainwear on so we weren’t going to get particularly wet. I just tuned into the sound of the raindrops. When we were walking below pine trees the tone was almost hushed, under broadleaf trees the drops were louder, almost like rain on a tent. Then there was the deeper, even louder sound of big drops of water falling from leaves onto my hat or coat. Fascinating to listen to.
