The trees on our avenue

The trees on our avenue are too tall now and I'd hate to think of the damage one would cause if it came down. A number of large branches broke off in the recent storm.
There isn't one person living in our avenue who doesn't want to be rid of these trees. I love trees but these are too big to be so close to houses. They are Linden trees.
Done lots of washing today on the strength of it being fine all day - it looked very iffy at times but the dark clouds blew over.
Did a bit of gardening.
It's been quiet due to the Bank Holiday.
Today is my granddaughter Caroline's birthday. She is 38 and that makes me feel old!
Terry has been making things in the garage again.
