Renovation
The old theatre in Kalmar has been renovated in sections during a very long time. It's was finished in 1862 and has gone through many changes since then. This autumn, the entrance will be restored to its former glory, it has been a shame to the building, very worn and all the ornaments has been hidden or repainted in one colour. This is what it looks like now, in the beginning of renovation. I'll be back with some more photos once it's finished in about a month.
I was in town to have my eyes checked by my optician today and found that my vision has gone very slightly worse, I don't need to change glasses but I've noticed my vision is a little bit blurry when I walk around in town. Glass and glasses are very expensive at the optician I use to go to, so I'm going to have a second check at another optician, closer to home, that sells much cheaper glasses. I'm sure there is no difference in the quality of the eye-examination though.
It's so good to be back home again, to the well known evening silhouette appearing earlier every night. We're definitely heading towards autumn.
