Dangerous energy overhead

For the last two years the Cardiff Metro Train service has been undergoing a process of modernisation and electrification. I thought it a simple process of installing overhead cabling and way to go. How wrong I was. First they cut back the overgrown vegetation to make space for the gantries, then constructed concrete bases, then the pylons, gantries and electric infrastructure to feed the grid and now they are installing the overhead cabling. This section appears complete, together with the  warning to trespasses about the danger. However, the trains are still powered by diesel. One day......
