Narcissus in Hagley Gardens
The wonderful sweep of yellow daffodils that welcomes spring in Hagley Park hasn't arrived yet, but the narcissus are blooming beautifully under the huge spreading trees. And the perfume is wonderful! I had my little mat with me, and down amongst the blooms the scents were utterly wonderful.
I had a great meetup with other blipper afterwards; GingerNan and Spikes2013 I already knew, and also Tussock (accompanied by TinyTussock) from Wanaka, meeting them for the first time. I love the way that you can meet up with blippers that you've never met before, and immediately have something in common.
